After an extremely busy day in Calendar Club we went to the Club at Manor Park, and had an enjoyable evening seeing in the new year.
On New Years Day - Shock Horror, we both had the day off, it was lovely and sunny and we drove to Kelling and had a lovely walk.

Not Impressed
Well I have had an interesting day today
not................................. I live in Norfolk and my son in
Banbury, he was supposed to bring his daughter (a product of a split
relationship) home today but overnight his girlfriends nan passed away
so he couldn't make it, so me and my husband agreed to do a round trip
to Banbury to collect his daughter, my husband works in a garage so we
had left and arrived at his garage about 5 miles away to fill up with
petrol, there he found he had forgotten he should be working this
morning, so I ended up going alone, now I hate driving just do it to get
from A to B, any long distance driving my hubby does, so I was
unprepared and left on the journey with no drink, no food and NO MONEY,
and no map. I had an awful journey well out of my comfort zone, please
note Norfolk has no motorways and I had to do some motorway travel. I
spent 8 hours travelling an horrendous journey. My son had loads of
calls, with me trying to get directions, my daughter had an hysterical
call with me shaking after surviving the M1.
Today is my wedding anniversary, we have been married 35 years and believe it or not I am not on speaking terms with him at the moment

Gary and Sarahs Wedding
The day dawned bright and cheerful, had panic about Bob's suit as the trousers were badly creased, because it hadn't been hung up properly. Bob is also not well he has got a red swollen leg, pain in the groyne and having breathing problems, he looks really ill.
Had an hair appointment at 9am, i had my hair straightened and am very pleased with it.
We arrived at the LeStrange at about 11.15.
After milling around chatting, we had our photos taken and went in the service took place in the small dining room.
It was a moving service and moved me to tears, as it did Debbie. Gary and Sarah chose a lovely reading all about marriage, i would like to get a copy if poss.
We then went outside for the photos, it was lovely and sunny.
Then we went in for a meal a lovely 3 course meal
I had Chilled Fan of Lemon with Sorbet, Supreme of Chicken cooked in White Wine with smoked bacon, leks and wild mushroom in a cream sauce followed by Chocolate and Pecan Brownie with Vanilla Ice Cream, delicious, Followed by Coffee and Mints in the lounge. To make it more memorable Kevin served us.
On the way home at about 11pm, we followed a Muntjac deer for a short way.

To Stand To Blow and To Engage
Today I sat Ili in a box and she stood up for the first time on her own.
Today is Sophies 11th Birthday for her birthday we bought Sophie,
as she had guides we went down to Jens around 4pm to surprise Sophie on her birthday, we had a nice simple buffet tea.
Sophie had Guides on her birthday and went with her new Guide Bear I bought her.
Micheal today all of a sudden had heard that the Engagement ring he had ordered for Hana had arrived so he rushed off into Kings Lynn to get it, very much in secret (sssshhhhh although i guessed), and when he came back he banished Hana and cooked her a special candlelit meal, all very romantic.

This beautifully illustrated book is packed with answers to questions a child might ask about God, Jesus, the Christian faith and many topics, including money, communion, suffering, the Bible, sin, living God’s way, Jesus’ death and resurrection, e.g., Did Jesus really die? Jacksons Wedding Pavillion
On wondering what Jacksons could do for the Wedding Weekend the idea came up a Wedding Railway Carriage, well we had a railway entusiast so we had the expertise required, we hoped.
So it started and it turned in to a lot bigger job than expected, we started by commissioning a unique railway carriage, it is a Dapol Mark 3 Coach with Electra Railway Graphics Vinyl Overlay.
Below is Photo Progress Journal of the work undertaken.
The Royal Pavillion started with common garden table mat available from any cheap jack shop. Then drill in several 3mm diameter holes.
Then disguise with paint and a raised platform and walkway made from Balsa wood and painted red to represent a red carpet for the Bridal Couple.
Then the seats were made from natural hardwood and left unpainted each seat was individually handmade.
Then came the supports and working lights, and filling the pews with all the people, each person had to be glued on individually using a cocktail stick, then we ran out of seated people and had to cut the legs off standing people, which was most fiddly, time consuming it was! Not forgetting the handmade cross.
Then time to build the framework.
Then to add the Bridal Couple complete with photographers just hidden by the post
Then it was time to add the cover, green flock for the grass and bushes with people, and seats.
All though more scenes were planned time was not on our side, below is the finished layout. During the running session we alternated between the Wedding Train and a Wrexham and Shropshire Set,
