Troll Hunter and Harry Brown

Bob worked this morning, last night i merged several blogs into this one by using the import tool, so i spent a lot of the morning, sorting out the labels, making sure they were accurate and deleting duplicates.

I also spent a lot of the day stitching cross stitch key rings for the kite festival:).

Steven had a Doctors appointment today after doing Docking Market, he gave him so extra strength pain killers and wants to see him again tomorrow at 9am, like me he thinks it is all Stress related.

We started watching Troll Hunter, it was a Norwegian Film with dubbed English, the best thing about it was the scenery, it was a poor story line, with unsympathetic characters, we gave up on it
Whilst investigating a series of suspicious bear killings, a group of students track a mysterious 'hunter' who wants nothing to do with them and attempts to shake them off his trail. Sheer persistence leads the group right to the hunter's prey and they soon learn that there are far more dangerous and mystical creatures in the wilderness than mere bears.

Troll Hunter is a thrilling and wildly entertaining ride where secrets are uncovered thought only to exist in fairy tales.

We then watched Harry Brown, very slow and quite boring

Michael Caine returns to the vengeance-fuelled chills of GET CARTER for this contemporary thriller in which he seeks to avenge the death of an elderly friend. Marking his feature film directorial debut, Daniel Barber presents a London that's a million miles away from the picturesque beauty of holiday brochures but instead a hellish city where menace lurks in the shadows of its streets. When his friend is brutally murdered by a group of disaffected youths, ex-serviceman Harry Brown (Caine) takes the law into his hands, vowing to hunt each of the culprits down...

Blog No 13 - Davies Family History

As Promised i have made a start on Blog 13 called

Davies Family History

Because of the type of Blog, i will not share it very often on Facebook, as it will only probably be of interest to family members, although anyone is free to look.

I have included the Jackson, Davies and Leeson Families.  It took some working out, and i think i will be tweaking for some time.

It will always be a work in progress, there are some interesting old photos there, if anyone can add any information, if i have got anything wrong, or omitted anything, please let me know,  any additional photos would be great.

Why do I Blog?

As has become apparent, i have over the past few months discovered Blogging,  why do i blog, what do i get out of it you may ask?

  • It Focusses me
  • Clears my Thoughts
  • Relaxes me
  • I enjoy it
So, I don't do gaming, which i find pointless, i guess blogging is my hobby.

I now have 12 Blogs and i do a lot of cut and pasting to make it more detailed and interesting.

  1. My Weightloss Journey  - Recipes, tips and the trials and tribulations of my journey.
  2. Davies Express - This is a family diary, information of things happening within the family unit, I used to do an Annual Christmas Newsletter and send to family - this replaces it!
  3. Sunny Hunny - History and News of Hunstanton and the Surrounding areas.
  4. My Christian Life - The story of my Faith, information i research and discoveries i am making about my faith, as well as inspirations, and by sharing this with friends and family i am drip feeding a little about my journey and maybe they may think 'Hey! there could be something in this'.
  5. My Guiding Life - My Life in Girlguiding and the History of Girlguiding in Hunstanton
  6. My Inspirations - Sayings, readings and poems that touched me in some way, these are not religious.
  7. Bookworm - A journal of books i have read
  8. Film Buff - A journal of films i have watched
  9. TV Lover - A journal of TV programmes i have watched
  10. Jacksons the Shoe People - A history and news of Jacksons as well as Footwear and Feet trivia and poems.
  11. Walks and Rambles - A journal of walks and rambles i have done as well as observations of the world around us
  12. It's a Holiday - A journal of Holidays we have had, not many I am afraid to say.
I am considering Blog 13 I am interested in Family History, so I might do one on Family History, when Ian and Jo were here at the weekend we touched on it in conversation and it set my thoughts rolling, I have been neglecting my Family History in the past few years, perhaps this would remind me and get me looking at it again.  Any ideas for the name of this Blog!!
I often share with Facebook - not everything is shared with Facebook - just selected items - it makes my newsfeed more interesting!!

Privacy - I have had comments about putting too much information in the public domain, i do not share everything on Facebook, i am selective, so people will have to be interested enough to  look on a regular basis to read all my blogs.

However, i do not blog everything, i am selective, i put on nothing too personal, or too in depth.

    Memories are made of this

This blog has been created primarily as a memory jogger, i am just being too unnaturally forgetful, i have serious concerns.
For the past few months i have been becoming increasingly forgetful of basic things.

I used to be indecisive, now i am not so sure

And the symptoms have been getting progressively worse.

I think something and say something else.
I get my words twisted round, even though i am thinking the right word, for instance a typical example is i said Lemon, and i should have said and was thinking Melon.
I have difficulty making any kinds of decision, even something as simple as what drink to have or whether to have a hot or cold drink.
I am continually hungry, i can have a meal, straight afterwards i feel uncomfortably bloated and heavy.  An hour later i am starving.
I am always thirsty, permenantly dehydrated, and drinking loads more than i am used to.

My eyes are very tired, i have a nagging ache behind them a lot, it is not agony i am just aware of it.
I forget what i am doing, i just seem to space out and go vague, i overcharged a customer today because i just couldn't remember what i was doing at the time.
I am having difficulty going to sleep and then i wake up early.
I get very hot, like i have a high temperature.
I cannot get comfortable in any position, in my chair or in bed.  I do seem to be comfortable curled up in Bobs chair, but he gets agitated, then cos of my knee it is quite low and i can't get out of it easily.
    I am headachy.
But the most bizarre thing (this is the strange bit) is i feel quite vague, it  is like i am in a parallel world to, myself looking on.
These symptoms are causing me a lot of concern, it is not physical so nothing you can put your finger on and go to the doctors about.
All i can think of is early onset alzeimers or pressure on the brain like a brain tumour.
David Hulse says i am typically describing Stress, and should try to take steps to reduce my stress.
Bob and the family just laugh at me, not realising how worried i am.
The only one who has noticed that things were amiss and i was out of sorts was Debbie, i didn't say anything, she just knew things were amiss!!!

This blog was originally created 17th July 2010 entitled How Strange am I?  the issues raised still exist for the most part!
