We arrived about 12 noon, went to get something to eat and went to Hana's to get changed. Then we left the Bride and her Bridemaids getting ready.
The Bridemaids were
Kira Davies - Micheals Niece
Ruby Buck - Hanas Cousin
Megan Harris - Hanas Stepsister
Iliana Ward-Davies - Micheals Daughter.
We arrived at the Registry Office at about 3.30pm and met up with Debbie and Jon (who was in trouble as he had left his shoes).
The weather was a bit iffy but didn't dampen the mood.
During the ceremony, i read out a poem that me and Bob took several months to get right!
A sign of peace is a white dove
And marriage is a gift of love
A joining, to make two lives whole
A joining, to make a single soul
But the act of marriage is just the start
This ceremony, here is just a part
We are gathered here to be with you
While you express your love, forever true
Yet life will throw its ups and downs
With lots of smiles and sometimes frowns
Just remember one small fact above
This marriage is a gift of love
This poem was the weddings best kept secret, Micheal and Hana never saw it and it reduced the registrar to tears, she was most taken with it, and kept saying how wonderful it is.
We headed for the reception at the Cromwell Lodge Hotel in Banbury.
I presented Micheal and Hana with a framed copy of the poem, getting a pink frame proved interesting, but i was happy with it.
Jen and Andy presented Micheal and Hana with a cross stitch sampler which took Jenny about 3 months to make.
Kira and Rubys Speech
The First Dance, danced to a song written by Micheal for his Wedding Day
Now time to Party!!
