Sponsored Walk

As part of Girlguidings Cenenary Celebrations, Smithdon and Brothercross District did a sponsored walk, for Breast Cancer the original idea was to do Race for Life, but it cost £22 per person to enter + sponsor money, so we did our own, charged everyone £2 to enter to go towards a picnic, we all had to wear pink, the breast cancer colour.
We met at Sandringham Field Study Centre which is free for community groups to use.
We started about 6.40pm,

and enjoyed the walk me and Jenny stuck together we saw a Grey Squirrel up close

We finished the 2 mile yellow trail at about 7.50pm, this 2 mile trail turned out to be 8477 steps and 3.88 miles, so didn't do too badly.
When we got back the Trefoil Guild had made us a good picnic, that we ate in the Field Study Centre.

An enjoyable evening.
