David and Ruth's Farewell Party

Tonight we went along to David and Ruths Party at Hunstanton Community Centre at 4pm (after I cheated and shut the shop 30 minutes early).  David and Ruth were collected in Richard Birds Bentley

We had a lovely evening, it started by having Fellowship, then we had some lovely food prepared by our lovely church ladies.

Presentations were given by

Hunstanton Rainbows
And an album that Church Members had been filling in memories of over the past few months.
A cheque was presented from Union Church Members

 Several cards and tokens were given, i presented them with  a cross stitch i had made.

And David was presented with a hand knitted Middlesborough Hat

We had a cake cutting ceremony

Then we had a performance by Hunstanton Concert Band

And David got his dream conducting them playing Colonel Bogie

Then we had a performance by a Country Singer Bob Pearson, a friend of the Church

We finished the evening with The Grace and left for home about 9.30pm
