Anglia 40th Birthday Challenge Day

Today dawned bright and sunny, we set off to Redgate Junior School for our Activity Day

Rainbows, Brownies and and Guides started arriving about 9.30am, when they arrived they were given a coloured dot to be put into teams so we had a good mix of different sections and units.

They were also given a bag to put bits they made in and a passport, so every activity they went to they got a sticker.

Then they started off going round in their groups to different activities, there was drink on tap if they needed any.  There were 9 activities taking us round the Anglia Region.

Lincolnshire - Famous for Flower Parades

Making Tulip Flower Pictures
Cambridgeshire - Famous for Whittlesey Straw Bear

Making Wool Dollies

Oxfordshire - This was a problem to do, our original thought was Morris Dancing but this didn't pan out and everything we thought of didn't work, in the end we made Hobby Horse in memory of Ride a Cock Horse to Banbury Cross.
