Freda England

Freda joined 1st Hunstanton Guides in October 1931 and after serving in the army during the war was appointed Guide Captain in 1946.

Thirteeen years later she became Brown Owl, during her career in Guiding she took her guides on holiday and camping all over England.

In 1986 Freda Retired and District Commissioner Mrs Sheila Lee presented her with a garden chair from the Guides and a flowering tree and book token from the Brownies.

Mrs Jill Barrett took over as Guide Guider and Mrs Katherine Witton as Brownie Guider.
