Activity Day

On the 2nd July we are holding a District Activity Day, for Rainbows, Brownies and Guides, we are working towards Girlguiding Anglia's 40th Birthday Challenge from http://www.girlguiding-anglia.org.uk.

This will be held at Redgate Junior School and will cost the girls £5 each for the day, culminating in getting a badge at the completion of the challenge.
The day will start at 9.30am for a 9.45am start, stopping for lunch at 12.30pm and finish at 4.00pm.
It takes the form of 9 different activities from 9 different counties roung the Anglia region.
Each girl to have a passport to take round so each girl gets a sticker when activity completed.

Our day will take the form as follows:-

9.45 Start each activity to last 25 minutes with 5 minute changeover.

1. Norfolk - Edith Cavell Game - Kay and Alirae
2. Cambridgeshire - Woollen Dollies - Hilary and Kayleigh
3. Oxfordshire - Morris Dancing - see if we can get someone into run this with Mary
4. Lincolnshire - Tulip Picture - Mandy and Amy
5. Essex - Essex Factor - Jan

Lunch

1. Suffolk - Edible Pictures - Eve and Linda
2. Hertfordshire - Charades - Sara
3. Bedfordshire - Paper Aeroplanes - Sue and Jen
4. Buckinghamshire - Revolting Rhymes - Dawn and Jude
5. Challenge Cup - this will take the form of each having a race to fly their paper aeroplane, the winner of each unit will go forward to a Grand Final and the winner will win the Challenge Cups.

3.30pm Drink and 40th Birthday Cake for everyone
3.45pm Challenge cups and Badges presentation.
4.00pm Home Time 
Susanne will do refreshments and will float and help where needed, and do the timings.
Dawn will do passports for everyone.
