Strolls and Snowdrops

Yesterday we did this Charles and Joy Boldero Walk from the EDP, i wanted to do this a couple of weeks ago to see the snowdrops, although it is a little bit late for snowdrops, we thought it worth a chance, we did see snowdrops although they were past their best.

The sun was shining it was a lovely day for this 5 mile walk.

We started at the Na r Valley Way Car Park in Litcham, we entered a lovely area of woodland it was idyllic. The last thing we expected to see was Dartmoor Ponies in the middle of Norfolk Woodland but we did.
Then started a boring part of the walk where we followed loads of field edges, at one point we thought we had gone wrong, but it was just a long way. During this part of the walk we passed Lexham Hall where they have Snowdrop Walks for Charity.

Then we reached East Lexham and came across The 'Butter Market', where we sat and ate lunch
Then we had a long walk on road which is hard on the knees, and i found hard work, we then reached an tiny anglo saxon church

This was the start of walking through some pretty woodland and scenery, dotted with lots of clumps of snowdrops.

We then reached the main road and walked through Litcham and back to the car park.
