Easter Paddle

Made sure i was up early today, to go to Easter Breakfast and communion in the Church Hall at 8am.

It started off with breakfast of Cereal, Toast and Yoghurt, about 15 of us attended.  After we had cleared up breakfast the seats were placed in a circle and we had a very peaceful short service and communion.

We then went upstairs, Sophie and Dylan were then delivered to me, to begin our main Church Service.

Well the family talk took the form of an 'Easter Egg Hunt', great fun, unusual for a church, where but in our church would you get an Easter Egg Hunt.

The children then went down stairs, where they made tombs, and figures, did colouring, sounds like great fun.

It has been wonderful Easter, with the thoughtfulness, sadness and meditation of the Crucifiction on Thursday and Friday, and then on Sunday the joy of Christ being risen.

We went home to a Roast Dinner, Bob was not terribly impressed, he kept making comments about me leaving him for hours and hours.

Then i went out with the Smith Family and had a Easter Egg Hunt on the beach, and our first paddle of the year in the sea.

The Smith family provided tea, with homebaked Easter Cakes made by Jenny complete with mini eggs and homemade pom pom chicken.
