Visiting a Birds Paradise

Today didn't go as planned, whats new in my life, sun was shining good, planned taking a pack up, didn't  have anything in so didn't happen.   Bob took a Royal Wedding banner to put up at work, i waited in the car for him for about 1.5 hours, in the middle of which i was sent home to fetch an hammer.

Eventually, just after 12 noon, we got to our destination the long ole trip to Snetthisham.

Our plan was to do a 5 mile walk at snettisham, this was a Charles and Joy Boldero Walk from the EDP www.edp24.co.uk published on 9th April 2011.

It started off at Snettisham in the car park of the RSPB Reserve http://www.rspb.org.uk/reserves/guide/s/snettisham/, the walk was in two halfs of 2.5 miles, the first part was a linear walk for 2.5 miles, getting back to the car park, the second part is a circular 2.5 mile walk.

We had wonderful views  of the lakes and birds, it was very noisy with the Geese, Gulls, Ducks, there was hardly any people around, it was lovely.

It was a low tide, and we had a good view of the mud flats.

The Old Jetty

We got back to the car and i was all set to have a short break, and do the 2nd part of the walk, but Bob didn't want to, so we came home.
