Our 34th Anniversary

April- Marry in April if you can, joy for maiden and for man.

I don't know whether it is my problem or the shops or card manufacturer, but yesterday when i went to write out  Bobs anniversary card it said Happy Birthday inside, wow the panic, so talking to Jen, I found a verse i liked on the computer, printed it out and Jen helped me make it fit, i hope it doesn't look too home made, the front of the card was a definite anniversary, so did the manufacturer print the wrong words in the middle??

The verse read

Never a moment passes by
When you're not on my mind

That in my thoughts, I find

And I feel there is no doubt

Today is our wedding anniversary, we have been married 34 years, it is a bittersweet day, 34 years ago i started married life with such dreams and ambitions and it has all turned to dust.

I ask have we been happy, i really cannot answer that, i feel sad and lonely a lot of the time, we do not communicate enough.

Jen and Andy got us a card with the following verse

To a special Mum and Dad

Then it had to be ruined by saying inside

Mum commands and Dad Obeys

Bob bought me 2 bunches of flowers, cream roses and deep red chrysanths.

Bob made us a nice dinner, howeve, it would of been nice to be taken out and wined and dined for a change:(
