BASIC Guidelines

Eat Breakfast
Base meals around Salads and Vegetables
Provide a vegetable and protein with each meal
Eat small meals every 3-4 hours
Eat as much as you like when you like from Basic Foods List, but stop when FULL
Treats – eat in moderation
For packed lunch make a grazing salad box
Portion Control
Stop eating when you are full
Eat Variety
Eat 5-9  portions of fruit and veg daily
Eat unprocessed foods as close to their natural state as possible
Drink 8 8oz glasses of water a day
Drink Low Fat and Sugar Free Drinks, Cappuccino and Hot Chocolate, Squash, Fruit Juices and Diet Drinks
Use Olive Oil instead of butters and fats
Plan your meals for the week
Freeze individual portions to reheat later
Do Not eat  within 3 hours of Bed
Exercise 20-40 minutes a day
